What's the big deal about beliefs?

We become like the God we serve. What we believe about God shapes our lives. Is what you believe working for you? Do you find yourself living more joyfully, peacefully and lovingly every day.? If not, maybe its not your circumstances that need to change, but what you believe about God and how you engage with Him. To know God personally in ways that really matter takes paying attention to our lives in new ways and putting new practices into our lives. We welcome you to explore the theme of "God is..."  in March and "Jesus reimagined" in April.

Our hope and our heart is that each and every child who walks through our door finds a place within our children's ministries, and we work hard to ensure they do!  Please take a look at our programs below, and let our staff know if you have any questions!

Youth Connect //
Sunday Mornings @ 9:30

Neighborhood Church believes that a key to growing stronger as a Christian is through the discipleship of someone who has been where you are. Sunday mornings before service our middle and high school students have the opportunity of meeting with their mentor groups for lesson and discussion of who God is. This time allows the students to bond with the leaders, peers, and God!

Youth Group //
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS @ 7

Wednesday nights grades 6th-12th come together to worship God and grow together. NC youth is simply about Jesus. We have fun together as we help students encounter God's love for every one of them and His great plans for their lives. Our goal is to see students saved, grow, serve, and lead others to the hope they've found. Every time of worship, every game, and every sermon is done to accomplish that mission.

Our Current Series: Guardrails

Over the next few weeks we will begin to look at how God created us for relationships with Him and each other. We need to ponder the path of our feet in our relationships and become aware of some of the ways we can protect ourselves and others from harm.

"Guardrails" are different than walls, they don't divide, or stand between us and others but instead protect us from going places we don't want to go. No one appreciates a guardrail until they need one; until one protects them from going over a cliff. Guardrails in our relationships allow us to be relational with anyone, while protecting our integrity, future, and safety.

"Guardrails" is our current series that focuses on our relationships and how we can be people who love others in a way that reflects the love of our savior, Jesus.

Do you struggle to find long lasting positive friendships? How do you know someone really loves you? How do you guard your heart while still loving others? How can we overcome an addiction that negatively affects relationships? What about dating for right reasons, for the right person?

Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure.
— Proverbs 4:26
