Miss a service? Catch up here!

What's the big deal about beliefs?

We become like the God we serve. What we believe about God shapes our lives. Is what you believe working for you? Do you find yourself living more joyfully, peacefully and lovingly every day.? If not, maybe its not your circumstances that need to change, but what you believe about God and how you engage with Him. To know God personally in ways that really matter takes paying attention to our lives in new ways and putting new practices into our lives. We welcome you to explore the theme of "God is..."  in March and "Jesus reimagined" in April.

Kids

Our mission is to provide a safe and exciting place where kids can know Jesus!

Kids

Our mission is to provide a safe and exciting place where kids can know Jesus!

Welcome to NC Kids! It would be easy to assume that kids church is just a childcare program the church provides while parents attend service, but here at Neighborhood Church that is not how we see it. We take our kids and their spiritual growth very seriously. Our children are the church of the future, but they are also the church of the present! NC Kids is all about teaching children that God has a plan for them NOW that they can continue to build on as they grow older.

We believe that by presenting God’s word to children in an exciting age appropriate way and showing them that they can have a relationship with Jesus, we can build a generation who grows up living on fire for God. Teaching children in a class setting is not enough. By giving them hands-on experience in service to others, children can see that Jesus can use them and that they are important to Christ NOW! Kids are not only the church of TOMORROW, they are the church of TODAY!

Our volunteers for NC Kids are extremely important to the success of our ministry. By mentoring and teaching these kiddos our volunteers leave a lasting impression in the lives. By relying on the Holy Spirit for guidance to be the example, our kids learn to worship God, understand the truths of His word and discover that the God who created them loves them beyond measure.

Sunday Mornings

Preschool & KINDERS

Our kiddos ages 3-6, gather together to learn who Jesus in a fun, safe environment during our Sunday morning 10:30 service!

Elementary (ages 7-11)

We believe the church isn't just made up of adults but that our children play a vital role in our congregation.  We encourage our elementary aged kids to enjoy service with their parents and worship with us on Sunday mornings!

Nursery

We provide a caring, safe, and nurturing environment for our infants and toddlers to play and interact, allowing the parents to relax and fully experience what God has for them in the service.

We have fun together as we help students encounter God's love for every one of them and His great plans for their lives. Our goal is to see students saved, grow, serve, and lead others to the hope they've found. Every time of worship, every game, and every sermon is done to accomplish that mission.

LEGACY //Thursday Nights @ 6:30

LEGACY is a small group for young men looking to grow spiritually as men and someday leave behind a legacy of faith and love in their future family. If we want to leave a legacy for generations to come we better start letting God mold us now.

Our Current Series: CruMBLING BY COMPARISON

Over the next few weeks we will begin to look at what the Bible tells us about living in a world where there is a constant temptation to compare. Believe it or not, its not a new thing. It’s been a struggle for all humanity, but God desires that we would see our own value through His eyes and use it to uplift others.

When you discover that God made you with a specific plan and for a specific purpose and start to walk in it, you find the crumbling can stop and can be replaced by God given confidence.

"Crumbling by Comparison" is a series of talks about the human struggle to compare our lives to others.

Do you ever struggle with comparing yourself to others? Even some of your best friends? You love them but it seems every success, every post, is a constant reminder of your shortcomings. You find yourself in this cycle that is tearing you down from the inside out. Insecurities are accumulating daily and it seems like there’s no hope.

For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.
— James 3:16
