Neighboring: Giving & Receiving

Often times, when giving and receiving with other people, we are met with or we go into it with certain expectations - whether it's giving out of an obligation, or receiving something because we expect to get.  But God asks us to give and receive with a certain attitude in our hearts.  As we continue in this series and as we continue in our pursuit of loving our next door neighbors, let's examine what this looks like together.

Neighboring: It's A Party!

So what is "neighboring"? What does it mean for us to use the word "neighbor" like a verb?  Jesus told us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves - but what does that mean?  We have this great example of the heroic Samaritan man who stopped to help his enemy, and sometimes we stop there - only helping in heroic or great lengths.

But what about the people literally right next door?  Let's look together at what it means to neighbor, and how we can grow in our understanding of what it means to love others and meet them where they are at.
